007 MAN DANIEL CRAIG REJECTS FERGUSON'S TICKET OFFER

007 Rejects Ferguson's ticket offer.Manchester United's manager SAF tried to impress 007(James Bond) actor Daniel Craig with the offer of free tickets to watch Manchester united play, only to discover the Hollywood superstar is actually a Liverpool fan.

Sir Ferguson was on the same flight with the Hollywood star's mom on his way to New york in September and made the offer, and she politely declined pointing that the 007 man will never think of coming to see Man Utd play as he is a die hard Liverpool fan, Daniel Craig was spotted with the Liverpool manager Rogers in US during the pre season.

Regardless of Craig's loyalty to Liverpool, Ferguson will be making a trip to the cinema to watch sky-fall partly because he does share one thing in common with the actor, they are both from Scotland.

SOLSKJAER EDGING CLOSER TO UNITED HOT SEAT AFTER SECURING BACK-TO-BACK NORWEGIAN LEAGUE TITLE.

Last week i gave out a story about former Manchester united striker Solskjaer nursing an ambition to one day manage the team he tasted cup glories with as a player,Solskjaer won the club's first ever league title at his first attempt and  last night the Molde manager added to his rising CV by winning Norwegian league title
for the second consecutive time.

The 39-year-old, who took charge at the Aker Stadion in 2011, secured back-to-back Norwegian league titles with the help of little known Nigerian super sub-Daniel Chukwu scoring the winner against Honefoss.

Only time will tell if the man that won the premier league six times wearing the United jersey can come in and replicate his Molde magic wearing suits and standing at the touchline in Old Trafford.

UNITED REIGNITES INTEREST IN PORTO WINGER

With the transfer window gradually drawing near, Manchester united's radar has caught up with 21 year- old Colombian international James Rodriguez.Manchester United have been told that they must spend big if they want to land the in-demand Porto starlet during the January transfer window.

Reports has it that the Manchester United boss sent scouts to watch the Colombian international who has been dubbed the new 'Cristiano Ronaldo' in action for Porto on Friday night, but has now been left stunned by the Portuguese club's asking price.

Ironically Porto have informed Manchester United that it will cost £36 million to trigger the release clause in the contract, having initially been told £24 million would be enough to buy the 21-year old out of his deal, SAF will have to spend almost three times as much on Rodriguez as he did when Ronaldo signed for Manchester United in 2003.

The arrival of Rodriguez will certainly mean the way out for Luis Nani who Ferguson publicly critized for the Capital one cup defeat at Chelsea, will Fergie roll out the cash to boost his power playing attack? only time will tell.

CHICHARITO DESERSES TO GO FROM SUPER SUB TO STARTER.

Manchester United showed the stuff true champions are made of by coming from behind to overturn a two goal deficit at villa park courtesy of second half substitute Chicharito's goals, early minutes of the game saw sparks of brilliance especially from the middle of the park marshaled by legendary Scholesy, a resilient United side that is battling with injuries at the backline as usual conceded first just as we have seen in as many games already this season.
Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson believes Javier Hernandez can challenge Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie for a regular place in his starting line-up after the Mexican inspired a brilliant comeback at Aston Villa.
United had trailed 2-0 after Villa forward Andreas Weimann scored either side of halftime on Saturday, but Hernandez came off the bench to net twice, as well as playing the crucial role in the other goal, as Ferguson's team clinched a 3-2 win which sent them four points clear at the top of the Premier League.
The Mexico striker was only denied a hat-trick because Ron Vlaar was credited with an own-goal after Hernandez's shot deflected in off the Villa defender.
United have a host of attacking options, but after such an influential display Ferguson insists Hernandez deserves to go from super-sub to starter.
"Javier did his natural thing. He's fantastic in the penalty box and his movement and quickness in space has got him the goals," Ferguson said.
"He had a good summer break and it's made a difference to him. What we saw today is what we saw from him two years ago.
"When you score goals, you pick yourself and I think he'll be playing next week.
"We never gave in, we hit the bar twice and once we got the second goal I think we really came alive.
"It was a fantastic game. I thought that Christian Benteke was brilliant for Villa but when we need to do it, we do it."
Ferguson also confirmed the club's medical staff will assess an injury to Rooney after he was substituted 11 minutes before the end of the match.
The United forward has been named in Roy Hodgson's England squad for the friendly against Sweden in Stockholm next week, but Ferguson refused to confirm whether he would miss the match.
"He got a knock on his ankle and he has some ice on it at the moment. We will see what he is like in the morning," Ferguson added.
Meanwhile, Villa manager Paul Lambert insisted the performance of his young side would serve the club well for the future even though they threw away a two-goal lead.
United maintained their excellent record at Villa Park, having not lost there in the Premier League since the start of the 1995-96 season, to leave the hosts dangerously close to the relegation zone.

BABY FACED ASSASIN "I dream of a UNITED Job"

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Gaby Logan Creating Chances...Hi-res-121175249_crop_exact

Ole Gunnar Solskjær (born 26 February 1973 in Kristiansund, Møre og Romsdal) is a Norwegian former footballer, who spent most of his career playing for Manchester United, mainly as a striker, but also a winger. He is now a manager, currently in charge of Molde. Nicknamed "the Baby-faced Assassin", he played 366 times for United, and scored 126 goals during a successful period for the club. He was regarded as a "super sub" for his trait of coming off the substitute bench to score late goals. Solskjær's defining moment in football came in injury time of the 1999 UEFA Champions League Final, where he scored the winning last-minute goal against Bayern Munich, completing a remarkable comeback and winning The Treble for United.
In Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first year of management at his former club Molde he won the league title, for the first time in Molde’s 100 year history a feat he didn't achieve as a Molde player.
With two games remaining in his second season, Molde are currently top of the league by one point, having beaten title rivals Rosenborg 2-0 last weekend.
However, Solskjaer has his eyes on one day returning to England to get some experience before becoming the Manchester United manager.
“I’m not naive enough to say I can do that job but in life you should have big dreams and big goals,” he said. “It’s a dream but let’s take just one step at a time. I want to become a manager in England. At the moment I’ve just started and it’s been two years more or less in Norway. So the time will come. I’ve spoken to clubs and explained it’s a bit early as I want to learn and don’t want to jump too big a bridge at the start. Managing is not easy but it’s very enjoyable when you are winning, it’s challenging when you have a bad start.”
Let's keep our fingers crossed and see if Ole's dream will come true and whether he can transform his success on the pitch as a United player to success as a United Manager, only time will tell as great SAF is nearing his loud and remarking exit.
